Facebook and Google are the most important and successful companies on the Internet. Facebook is very complementary to Google, it raises the rating even more.

Another trend that I have started noticing in my own internet browsing behaviour, is that I am relying on Google less and less for navigating the web. This is mainly because of the new features in FireFox 3.

Whereas before I would go to Google to get back to a site that I didn't remember the URL for, FireFox now stores the URL and page title in your browsing history and auto-suggests from both as you type in the URL field. I guess that it is kind of a lazy man's bookmarking system, but I sure have noticed that I don't use Google near as much anymore.

Seeing as FireFox is starting to take a significant share of the browser market, I would be curious to see if these additional searching features will have any effects on Google traffic.
